Our mission is to honor, remember & thank all of the men, women and their families who have served in the United States Armed Forces. We pay tribute, show gratitude and respect to all American troops. We stand behind, honor and support the families of fallen service members who made the ultimate sacrifice or died as a result of his/her service.
We organize, conduct and support events and activities which promote the general welfare and gratitude of military families. We support benevolent, charitable and educational organizations which in turn honor, respect and support veterans and their families. We stand behind, honor and support the families of fallen service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
We provide educational opportunities, activities, outreach and strategic communications to the public to promote and recognize the achievements of veterans and their service to our country. We encourage and inspire the community, volunteers and donors to share in the enthusiasm in thanking and honoring Veterans for their service to the United States of America.
LEAVE NO VETERAN BEHIND
Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Inc has provided an outreach program to Veterans and their families since 2015. Over the years WHVV developed a program named Honor and Help. Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans has collaborated with other Veteran Service Organizations to fulfill the needs of Veterans who have been hospitalized, sick, homebound, disabled and unemployed.
Many Veterans are homebound and do not have transportation or can not drive. Sometimes spouses are in poor health and can not assist with the family meals. We provide delivery of food and in-home help for those that need it. We may help with meal plans, food prep, kitchen/house cleaning and grocery shopping.
Some Veterans just need a hand up to help them financially.
